We concentrated on using the available space to create a core that fitted bedside the radar sensor but was much deeper. We then utilised the remaining space to produce a freer-flowing end tank design.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe result is a core that’s a huge 80% deeper than the original, offering a massive 88% increase in overall capacity in comparison to the OEM intercooler and there’s also a significant increase in unobstructed frontal area, which allows it to make the most of the air flow provided.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt’s also the only intercooler available on the market that offers 15% larger inlet and outlets, increasing to 60mm from the standard 52mm found on the original intercooler to reduce restriction. The kit is supplied with Pro Hoses silicone pipework, which joins to the OEM boost pipe on the outlet\/cold side and replaces the pipework going to the inlet\/hot side to further improve flow.
