The 12 Second Quarter Mile

The 24th March seen the VUDU team make the trip down to SantaPod race way with a huge convoy of our loyal customers hoping to take the crown of fastest Ford Fiesta of the day.

We spent a number of weeks preparing the Famous 'VOODOO CAR' for the event by turning the day to day road car into a fully fledged drag machine!

Hoping to break into the 12 second category was something we have been aspiring to achieve for the past year - this was expected to prove difficult due to being in our infancy when it comes to drag racing.

We were more than confident we could achieve a fantastic time to show the great number of customers who had joined us at the event!

Though being at the event for 9 hours we were only gifted the chance to make two runs down the strip due to poor weather conditions!

After a long wait Nick took to the strip running 12.6 seconds at the first attempt, beating the competitions time of 13.1

A huge success on the day offering a promising future for us in the drag scene!
