The external housing, lens positioning, mounting geometry, and overall visual appearance of these vehicle puddle light units have been independently designed and developed by Car Enhancements UK and are protected under UK registered design law.

Design protection is claimed for the appearance of the product as illustrated, covering the distinctive OEM-style replacement form and physical configuration.

Any unauthorised copying or sale of products that reproduce the same or substantially similar appearance may constitute an infringement of our registered design rights.

FAQ:

• My Car does not have puddle lights as standard - will these still fit?

No, Unfortunately if your vehicle does not have puddle lights this unit can not be fitted. Is it not a retrofit unit but a replacement for the OEM single colour puddle light.

You can however retrofit mirrors to the vehicle which do have puddle lights in, which will then enable you to have this product. You would need to purchase the mirror housings, Modules and wiring looms. This can become quite expensive, requires knowledge of this type of work and may also require coding to the vehicle.

• My car already has the logo puddle lights from standard, will these fit?

This kit will only fit vehicles that do not currently have the Logo puddle lights – So if you have puddle lights, but theyre just white you are fine. We have attached a photo to the listing to show the compatibility! If you have the none compatible mirrors this unit will not fit!

• Do i have to cut any wires to fit this product?

Yes. Unfortunately as standard the puddle lights on this vehicle is hard wired into the vehicle wiring loom, and does not have a clip to be able to disconnect the factory unit from the car. As a result, we have made the kit very simple to install, and its a simple case of Disconnect the battery, Strip the mirror down, Cut 2 wires and connect our units via the supplied wire connectors!

• Is a fitting guide provided?

Yes, We have made an extensive step by step fitting video which is available on youtube to show you how to install this product.

• What tools are required to fit?

To install this kit you require a Trim Removal tool, A T20 Torx Bit, a set of Wire Cutters and an optional set of wire strippers (You can use the cutters to strip the cable if you are comfortable.

• Do they cause warnings or canbus errors?

This product will not cause any canbus errors or dash lights on the vehicle once installed correctly!

• Can i change the colour of the unit at a later date?

Yes, thanks to our Luminos Film tint technology incoroprated into the unit, we can supply replacement films at a later date to change the colour of the logo projection if required!

• Why buy these over the ford Edition mirrors with built in units?

Not only are the Ford full mirror units hugely expensive, but the logo is not as bright and as crisp as our unit, and the colour can not be changed on the Ford unit!

• Are these road legal and MOT Compliant?

Yes.
Puddle lights are courtesy/entry lighting only and are not part of the vehicle’s forward lighting system.

They do not affect MOT testing when fitted and operating correctly.

• Will these drain my battery?

No.
The lights operate only when the vehicle unlocks or doors are opened and draw minimal current, comparable to the factory units they replace. They automatically switch off with the vehicle.

• Can these be installed on both LHD and RHD?

Yes.
The projection is symmetrical, so these units work correctly on both left-hand-drive and right-hand-drive vehicles.

• Are they waterproof?

Yes.
The units use sealed housings suitable for exterior door mounting and are designed to withstand rain, road spray, and normal UK weather conditions.

• What is the warranty like?
