The Pro Alloy Competition Spec Intercooler allows your Audi S1 8X model to run an insane amount of power. This is achieved from the growth in core surface area (113% over standard), plus an additional 40% of internal volume to cope with the increased boost demands. The user friendly intercooler kit, bolts into place on the original fixtures, requiring only a small amount of plastic trimming.
Sold as a competition spec, the Pro Alloy Intercooler features a tube and fin design as it provided greater results than the bar and plate design. This particular core is used regularly as the intercooler is able to withstand power levels of up to 500bhp. The key to this new Pro Alloy Intercooler performance is the increase in core surface area, generating low inlet temps where other offerings struggle to make the big improvements.
