The MINI Cooper S F56 Intercooler by AIRTEC Motorsport is a must needed upgrade for MINI's that are remapped or planning on being remapped.

When cars are remapped they bypass the recommended power output. This means that the stock intercooler has to work more than designed for and can cause problems further down the line. The AIRTEC Intercooler is designed to be able to handle the increased turbo pressure and power output, allowing for the highest performance from your engine.

Proven on the DYNO the Airtec is shown to reduce the intake temperature by around 50%.

These are some tests completed by AIRTEC and their results:

Dyno testing – tests were carried out for temperature before and after the intercooler

• Stock intercooler
• Run 1 – Into intercooler 137 degrees C – Out of intercooler 50 degrees C
• Run 1 – Into intercooler 139 degrees C – Out of intercooler 54 degrees C
• Run 1 – Into intercooler 141 degrees C – Out of intercooler 61 degrees C

• Airtec intercooler
• Run 1 – Into intercooler 138 degrees C – Out of intercooler 26 degrees C
• Run 1 – Into intercooler 140 degrees C – Out of intercooler 27 degrees C
• Run 1 – Into intercooler 141 degrees C – Out of intercooler 27 degrees C

The Intercooler is available in two finishes. You can stand out from the crowd with the Natural Silver finish, however, if you are one for sneaking in the shadows the Pro-Series Black finish may be for you.

Available with the choice of colour of the AIRTEC Logo: No Logo, Black, Blue, Red, White, Yellow, and Other.
