The RacingLine Performance R600 intake system is one of the very best intake systems on the market right now for the MQB Platform cars. Offering a number of performance enhancements compared to the OEM standard airbox, one of the most unique features to the intakes customer base is the OEM+ look the R600 airbox brings to the engine bay.
The VW Racing R600 Intake is the perfect choice for those in search of performance enhancements while still maintaining OEM standards of design. We were eager to see what the R600 power gains were and so we personally tested the intake system on a number of customer cars as well as our very own Mk7 Golf R demonstration vehicle, where we saw an impressive 370bhp (VUDU STAGE 1) before breaking the 400bhp barrier (VUDU Stage 2).
The R600 has a great reputation for being one of the best intake systems available for stage 3 Golf R/GTI, Audi S3, Cupra R, VRS cars due to its superior flow and size increase overstock. What makes the R600 unique is the cover that encloses the intake system preventing any heat expelled from the engine to intervene with the air intake temperatures which means the R600 achieves a lower intake temperature providing a better flow of cold air.
We have the VWR R600 Intake for sale as either an individual item or can be purchased as part of one of our VUDU tuning packages. Our VUDU tuning package integrates our pristine software alongside the best quality hardware, ensuring the car makes optimum figures. The Racingline R600 Intake Audi S3 / Golf R Stage 2 package sees this intake as the primary point, replacing the restrictive airbox and ensures the most efficient intake temperatures and worthwhile power gains.
The Racingline intake can be perfectly paired with the Forge Turbo Muffler Delete to create a perfect flow of air to the engine. Installing the r600 sets you up for future upgrades as it can handle the increase in airflow a remap would demand.
